Ankush Saigal has been appointed by the IT giant Wipro Limited as its head of the telecom industry sector for Southeast Asia, where he will oversee the company’s commercial expansion.

According to a statement from Wipro, universal connectivity is fostering dynamic change in Southeast Asia’s telecom sector.

Ankush Saigal has been named the Head of the Southeast Asian Telecom Industry Sector, according to Wipro Limited.

As they continue to fortify the underlying IT infrastructure that underpins their business operations and fosters innovation, telecom firms and communications service providers (CSPs) are growing and expanding.

“Ankush will lead Wipro’s business growth in the telecom sector in Southeast Asia at a time when the overall telecom and CSP industry is looking to adopt an ecosystem play to reach greater heights and drive sustainable growth,” it said.

Saigal worked for Accenture before joining Wipro, where his duties included growing technology sales across the communication, media, and high-tech industries, promoting go-to-market with important ecosystem partners, and managing important client relationships. He managed one of the biggest business relationships in the area while working for Infosys before Accenture.
